The 2024/25 adidas LCFC Women home kit was unveiled from 9am, with those fans in attendance the first to get their hands on the brand-new shirt, featuring King Power as Principal Partner of LCFC Women.

Following some media duties for the players, as well as Amandine Miquel, it was time for a Q&A with the new Manager, exclusively for 2023/24 LCFC Women Season Ticket Holders inside the Champions Club.

Meeting the new Manager.

Speaking at the event, Missy Goodwin commented: “It’s been quite a long off season so it’ll be really nice to see them (the fans) all here again next season. They had such a massive role to play last year and I think it will be the same again this year.”

The players soon emerged in the Foxes Fanstore to sign autographs and pose for selfies and photographs, giving the Blue Army a chance to meet their heroes in person.

“It’s always great to speak to the fans,” Asmita Ale, who signed permanently for the Club this summer, added. “We obviously love their support and it will be great if they all come to our games again at King Power Stadium and the away games.”

Say cheese!

Club mascot Filbert Fox was also in attendance on Filbert Way, keeping fans entertained, while there was a very special surprise at midday, with midfielder Ruby Mace announced as a new Foxes signing, much to the delight of loyal supporters who were then able to mingle with the young England star.

Another returning name, goalkeeper Janina Leitzig, was pleased to see the supporters turn out in their numbers for the season launch event.

“I missed them throughout the summer,” the German admitted. “They play a big part during the season so I’m really looking forward to meeting them again. It’s always a nice connection between the fans and the players.”
