Leicester City Under-23s captain Elliott Moore has called for more of the same after an encouraging performance during the at St George’s Park.
The visitors had several chances to emerge from Burton-Upon-Trent with all three points but it was their defensive display which earned the most plaudits on a testing evening against Darren Wassall’s men.
Speaking to at full-time, Moore said: “The boys worked hard and we kept a clean sheet which is one of our goals. We now need to go on from here and hopefully get three points on Sunday.
“The game wasn’t one with a lot of chances. We do need to take chances if we want to get points but we deserve this one tonight. Every game is a test, we just need to keep doing what we’re doing.”
