- Foxes finished pre-season tour of Perth with a 5-2 win over West Ham United
- Amandine Miquel was pleased with City's progress in Western Australia
- The team depart Perth immediately to continue seasonal preparations at Belvoir Drive
The pre-season campaign ended with five separate goalscorers against Barclays Women's Super League opposition, as Miquel's team continues working towards the start of the new season.
Yuka Momiki, Sam Tierney, Missy Goodwin, Noémie Mouchon and Saori Takarada all netted at HBF Park, before Vivanne's late double denied City a clean sheet in Perth.
"I thought it was a good game overall," she stated. "We had good offensive transitions, good possession on the ball and we played how we wanted to for most of the game.
"We still have to work defensively and be more precise offensively. I think we could have scored more than five goals today. I am proud of the players, and we are going in the right way.
"The key learnings are that we're defending well, but we can do even better. We will continue working and try to be a little bit more precise offensively. There were some actions where we didn't make the right decision on the final pass."
Despite a resounding victory over the Hammers, Miquel recognised areas for improvement and aims to continue seeing her team grow as the new season rapidly approaches.
The Manager added: "One of our objectives is to concede less goals and today we could have done better with the last two goals. We need to be concentrated until the end because it can become a very bad situation. We have to keep concentrated for the whole 90 minutes.
"The result would have been nicer without the two goals conceded. We will work on that and make sure we don't stop, whatever the score is. We have to concentrate and make the efforts."
