Leicester City Development Squad midfielder Logan Briggs has been honoured with the Premier League Scholar of the Year award.

The 19-year-old, who won the Men’s Academy Player of the Season in 2023/24, has been recognised for his impressive displays for the young Foxes, along with his dedication and excellence in his academic studies.

The award honours academy players who excel in football while maintaining high academic standards, with Briggs thriving in all aspects of his scholarship programme.

He has completed his Sporting Excellence Professional Apprenticeship and achieved a distinction grade in all areas, while also earning a triple distinction star in his Level 3 BTEC in Sporting Excellence and Performance.

On the pitch, he has made seven appearances for the Development Squad this term, including five in Premier League 2, scoring one and assisting another.  

Alongside this, Briggs has worked with the Club’s charitable arm – Leicester City in the Community – to help deliver coaching sessions in schools, while also opening a new sensory garden at Rushey Mead Academy.
