The Foxes are back on their travels this weekend when they face West Ham United at Chigwell Construction Stadium after falling to a narrow 1-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion last time out.

During the game in Crawley, midfielder Tierney was withdrawn on a stretcher in the second half, sparking concern within the Leicester camp, and Miquel was able to provide a short update on the injury during Thursday's press conference.

Sam Tierney has featured in every single game this season.

"Sam has an ankle injury," the Manager confirmed to the media. "We don't know the delay on that injury, but she won't be available for this weekend for sure."

Six games into the WSL season, City have been unfortunate with injuries so early on in the season, and the former Stade de Reims Manager was asked about the current situation of Lena Petermann but was unable to provide too much detail on the recovery of her No.9.

"I don't have a timeframe on Lena Petermann," Miquel explained. "It's pain that comes and goes. The staff are doing their best to get her back in and playing but it won't soon."
