Signing from Oud-Heverlee Leuven in the summer, Kees has made three appearance for Leicester, impressing by conceding just once, last weekend against Brighton.

Settling well into life in the East Midlands, the No.22 is delighted to be getting the game time she has lately and believes the team are working hard to correct the wrongs from Broadfield Stadium.

"At this moment I'm happy as I'm getting minutes," Kees stated. "It's just a shame that with the last game that the intensity wasn't there and we started badly, but at the end there were some good things to build on.

Putting the yards in.

"It feels good (to keep two clean sheets), but that's only two games and there's many more to be played so as a defence we are working hard which you need to do every week to stay in the squad."

Looking to bounce back to winning ways in the capital this Sunday, the Belgium international mentioned that the Foxes have been working hard on a game plan to take three points from the Hammers.

She added: "Of course there is a game plan for this weekend and we've been training well. The intensity has been there and better than the game last week so if we play like we've been training, we'll do well.

"After the Brighton game, we were a little down because we knew we could do more but once we stayed together and got back to training, we know that we can get over it and we're looking forward to this weekend."
