Heading into their second League Cup match, since a 1-1 draw with Bristol City in October, the Foxes are preparing for their third away game in four outings.

In the build-up to the game, the Manager provided an short, yet positive, update on the squad, as she was happy to confirm there were no new injuries to report on.

"No, nothing new to report on," Miquel stated. "It's been lowkey in terms of injuries for the last few weeks, since Sam's [Tierney] injury, but we are doing fine in the squad at the moment."

The former Stade de Reims Manager was asked about the condition of midfielder Tierney, who she admitted was not close to a return as she continues her recovery.

Miquel added: "We don't know how long Sam will be out for, but at the moment we know it'll be weeks or months rather than days."
