Switching focus to the Women's League Cup, when Leicester make the trip to Broadfield Stadium this Sunday afternoon for a 2pm GMT kick-off, the Manager spoke to the media to brief the second Group D fixture...
Facing Brighton
Travelling to Crawley to face the Seagulls for the second time in four weeks, the former Stade de Reims Manager is looking for revenge after losing out 1-0 in the Barclays Women's Super League last time out, against Dario Vidošić's side.
Understanding that this fixture may bring differences to their last meeting, she was keen to state her side will be ready no matter what tactics or game plan the hosts deploy this weekend.
"We're ready to compete against Brighton," Miquel explained. "They are a team that has a lot of propositions in their game plan so we will adapt to whatever they pick to face us."
A lack of scoring
Scoring just twice in the WSL, and three times in all competitions, Miquel understands there has been a lack of attacking intent from Leicester, but told the media that this is something they have been working hard on at Belvoir Drive.
"I'm going to keep saying the same thing, we'd like to keep the consistency defensively but start scoring more goals," Miquel continued. "We're working everyday to give the team the feeling that the goal is there.
"We're doing our best at the moment to improve on that side of our game."
Making changes
Only the second League Cup game, Miquel did say that this weekend's team may give chances to others that may not have had much game time this season, but is confident of putting a starting XI out that can see out victory.
The Manager added: "With the levels of players that we have available to us, the balance is not hard to find [between league and cup games], and it gives us a chance to maybe play younger players, or maybe experienced players that haven't had many minutes so far this season.
"I think our team has the same quality throughout, so when we switch players we don't lose that quality."
