The Leicester City Under-18s were beaten 2-0 by Tottenham Hotspur in the U18 Premier League Cup on Saturday morning.

In a second consecutive fixture against the London outfit, Leicester were beaten by Spurs after a second half brace from Dexter Oliver settled the scoreline at LCFC Training Ground.

On a difficult run of form, which hasn't seen the young Foxes claim victory since September, City went into the fixture off the back of a 3-1 loss to Tottenham in U18 Premier League; Kaleb Dyke scoring for the visitors in Essex.

Pressing pause on the league to continue their cup campaign, the scores were goalless at the half-time mark in Seagrave, before Oliver scored his first just after the restart.

A second for the midfielder came in the final 10 minutes of the game, keeping Spurs in the hunt for the quarter-finals, while Leicester remain bottom after three losses.

Attention returns to the league when City host Southampton in Seagrave on Saturday morning for an 11am GMT kick-off as they hope to build on their current position of 11th, with nine points from nine games.
