Watford have a new away turnstile block in operation at Vicarage Road. The turnstiles are in a different position to last season and are now positioned further along the back of the Vicarage Road Stand. Turnstiles will open 90 minutes before kick-off. In order to meet security obligations, Watford advise that you arrive no later than 45 minutes before kick-off to avoid any potential delays.
Supporter Meeting Point
The officially designated ‘away’ pub is The Oddfellows, 14 Fearnley Street, WD18 0RD.
Visiting Disabled Supporter Access
Disabled supporters should aim for the ‘Vicarage Roadie’ Information Point next to the Hornets Shop. Supporters should then approach Watford’s ‘Vicarage Roadies’ match day meet and greet team, who are dressed in bright green hi-vis jackets and will be stationed outside the stadium from 1pm onwards on the day. The ‘Roadies’ team will be happy to escort supporters to the appropriate accessible entrances and on to the away sections of the stadium. Watford strongly advise those supporters using wheelchairs who will be transferring to general access seats and their personal assistants to arrive no later than 45 minutes before kick-off to avoid any delays, as entry is through another stand and may take some time.
Commentary For Supporters With Visual Impairments
Watford FC has a number of ‘Soccer Sight’ headsets which allow visually impaired supporters, including those in the visitors section, to hear an audio commentary provided by volunteers from the Watford Hospital Radio team. Supporters are asked to email or call Watford’s ticket office hotline on 01923 223023 with their name and seat number to order a headset, which will be delivered to their seat before kick-off and collected at the end of the match.
Away Section Concourse
Watford have new facilities which are open for the first time at Saturday’s game.
