The 20-year-old central defender has captained Steve Beaglehole’s Under-21s side on a number of occasions this season and since penning a new deal in the summer, has impressed at the heart of defence.
Currently in 12th position in the League 1 table, The U’s are set to host Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday night as they look to close the ten-point gap to the top six – a match for which Sesay will be available to make his Football League debut.
The athletic and powerful central defender, who can also operate at right back, was part of the group that won the prestigious Hong Kong Soccer Sevens crown last summer.
