- Foxes youngster looks to add further first team experience
- Lawrence enjoyed a spell on loan in the Championship with Rotherham last season
Leicester City youngster Tom Lawrence has joined Championship side Blackburn Rovers on loan.
Tom, 21, heads to Ewood Park until January and, subject to his registration being cleared in time, could make his Rovers debut at Brighton & Hove Albion this Saturday.
Signed from Manchester United on transfer deadline day last summer, Lawrence has played four times for the Foxes first team, while featuring regularly for the Club's Under-21 Development Squad.
His development was also aided by a loan spell with Rotherham United in the Championship last season, playing six times for the Millers and scoring in a 2-1 win at Wigan Athletic.
Deployed frequently during City's pre-season fixtures, Tom will look to gather further first team experience under Gary Bowyer, potentially playing alongside former City winger Ben Marshall and former Foxes loanee Nathan Delfouneso.
