Leicester City supporters will be treated to a special performance from superstar tenor and football fan Andrea Bocelli ahead of Saturday’s Barclays Premier League fixture with Everton.
The classical performer made a promise to City manager Claudio Ranieri to perform if the Foxes won the league, and after they made history with a title win on Monday night, Bocelli was only to happy to help make the historic day extra special.
To celebrate the Foxes winning the title, Bocelli will be performing ‘Nessun Dorma’ and ‘Time To Say Goodbye’ in from of a sold out King Power Stadium crowd ahead of kick-off.
City’s title dreams become a reality after Tottenham Hotspur’s draw at Chelsea gave them an unassailable lead at the top of the table, meaning Saturday’s game against Everton will be a celebration of what is without question the greatest moment in the Club’s history.
Andrea’s performance will set the bar for a truly special afternoon that will culminate in City skipper Wes Morgan lifting the Premier League trophy in front of the Blue Army.
Leicester City Football Club would like to thank Andrea for taking time out from his world tour to play a special part in our celebrations on Saturday evening.
