A 22-man squad departed from England on Wednesday morning for the one of the largest youth tournaments in central and eastern Europe, where the young Foxes have been paired with Bosnian side FK Sarajevo and Slovakians FC Nitra in Group C.
Sparta Praha and Burnley, one of three English sides to have travelled to the historical capital of Bohemia, will officially open the contest at the Velký Stadion Strahov on Thursday morning.
City, meanwhile, start their Group C campaign against Nitra at 2:15pm BST before also facing Sarajevo on Saturday at the Stadion Evžena Rošického (2:15pm KO).
The Generali Cee Cup, a competition which hopes to instill virtues of fair play as well as competitiveness, is considered as one of the most prestigious youth tournaments in world football, making City’s appearance all the more notable.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for the Club’s brightest talents to compete against some of the finest young players in Europe," said Trevor Peake, manager of City's Academy side.
"It is sure to be a great occasion for everybody involved and it is one which gives us a platform to show what we can do in front of a different audience in the city of Prague.
"We are eagerly looking forward to the challenges ahead of us – against FC Nitra and FK Sarajevo.
"Over the past few seasons, Leicester City has participated in some tremendous youth competitions across the globe in places such as Germany and Hong Kong.
"If this experience is as beneficial as those have been, then it will be a thoroughly successful trip."
