The 20-year-old is likely to be a key figure for the Foxes as they contest nine matches in all competitions before the New Year’s Day visit of Huddersfield Town.
“I am looking forward to it,” Ndidi told LCFC TV on Monday. “Some players may feel fatigued, but it is the time of year when we have to do our best and get as many points as we can.
“It is an important time of the season with a lot of games, we know that the performances we put in and the results we get will determine where we finish in the league.”
Having joined the Club in January, Ndidi is approaching his one-year anniversary with the Foxes, a spell which has included playing UEFA Champions League football on Filbert Way.
However, the Nigeria international signed for City with them in the lower regions of the Premier League table, which is something that gives him perspective on this term.
He added: “It’s been amazing, I can’t lie. Last season, there was a lot of change for us. We were at the bottom but we then did more in the league so the 12 months has been good.
“You learn so much playing in England. The pace, the experience, the players; it all helps me to learn.
"Sometimes you think a player is about to do one thing and then they come up with something else so we keep learning.”
