- Filbert joined the public on the ice at Jubilee Square on December 13
- The LCFC mascot helped spread festive cheer whilst promoting Leicester City Council’s latest addition to the square
- The Jubilee Square Ice Rink is open until Monday 8 January, with walk-up tickets available
Earlier this month, Filbert was joined by eager shoppers to show off his skating skills at the temporary Jubilee Square Ice Rink.
After a few early tumbles, Filbert eventually found his feet under the canopy to the delight of the crowd! Excited children were then invited share centre stage alongside the city’s favourite fox.
Just like Filbert, the Blue Army can try out the slippery stuff at Jubilee Square until 8 January.
The huge ice rink in Jubilee Square is the perfect chance to polish those skating skills, with walk-up tickets available to purchase from the adjacent BBC Radio Leicester building.
Tickets are £8 for adults and £6.50 for children/concessions at off-peak times (11am until 4pm Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays). Tickets for all other times are £9 for adults and £7.50 for children/concessions.
