- Marc Albrighton is hoping to add to his productive form having been involved in eight Premier League goals this season
- Claude Puel’s men take on Everton at Goodison Park on Wednesday (7:45pm kick-off)
- The 28-year-old winger could potentially make his 200th appearance in the Premier League
The Foxes winger is enjoying a fruitful return this season having scored two and set up a further six goals in the Premier League.
Albrighton found the back of the net the last time he visited Goodison Park and with City unbeaten in their last six games, there’s plenty for the former Aston Villa man to be positive about.
“I’ve enjoyed some success in recent weeks with assists and I’ve chipped in with a couple of goals,” said Albrighton ahead of Wednesday’s Premier League visit to Everton.
“It’s always nice to be creating chances and finishing chances off.
“We’ve still got a large part of the season to go and hopefully I can build on that and not rest on my laurels by keep on pushing for more.”
Albrighton could potentially make his 200th Premier League appearance on Wednesday and he believes his experiences at both ends of the table have been highly beneficial.
“There’s been a lot of up and downs – more ups I’d say,” he added. “Obviously, the highlight was the league-winning season. It was fantastic to have achieved that and to be part of something like that.
“I’ve also experienced what it’s like to be fighting relegation as well both here in the first season and at Aston Villa. I’ve seen both sides of the scales and hopefully I’ll be seeing the latter more.”
