- The Leicester City play-maker scored twice in the Development Squad's 4-0 win over Liverpool
- Barnes has enjoyed loan spells with MK Dons and Barnsley in the Sky Bet Football League
- Voting is also open for the Club's 2017/18 End of Season Dinner awards
Barnes, 20, continues to impress for the Club's Development Squad and his performances over the past month have helped City to reach the Division 1 summit and the semi-finals of the Premier League Cup.
March started with a 4-0 success over Liverpool at King Power Stadium, including a brace of strikes from Barnes, while the Countesthorpe-based midfielder also featured at Swansea City.
Since making his first team debut against FC Porto in 2016, Barnes has enjoyed two loan spells with MK Dons and Barnsley before also appearing in the Emirates FA Cup this term.
"It's a real honour," he told LCFC TV. "The team has had a great month and a great season, but this month, I feel like my performances have probably improved so it's just good to help the team out.
"We know that we've got a real chance to continue our success over the coming weeks so, as a team, we're all going to try and keep going and we'll see what happens."
City’s youngsters next face Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Sunday afternoon (12pm kick-off) before hosting Derby County on Filbert Way on Monday 23 April (7pm kick-off).
