01
2002/03 - Paul Dickov
Leicester City toasted their maiden campaign on Filbert Way with promotion back to the Premier League under the management of Micky Adams. The Foxes finished as runners-up in the old First Division, now the Sky Bet Championship, with Scotland striker Paul Dickov netting 20 goals in all competitions during his first full season at the Club.

02
2003/04 - Les Ferdinand
Micky Adams added more firepower to his side for the first-ever Premier League season at the Club's new home. While Leicester boasted an enviable scoring record back in the top-flight - with Player of the Season Les Ferdinand registering 13 goals in all competitions - their defensive frailties eventually contributed to their relegation back to the second tier.

03
2004/05 - Danny Tiatto
Although Danny Tiatto was initially signed by Micky Adams in the summer of 2004, the season in fact ended with Craig Levein occupying the manager's position on Filbert Way. Australian midfielder Tiatto was a reliable and experienced presence for the Foxes during an otherwise disappointing season which ended in a 15th-placed finish back in the Championship.

04
2005/06 - Joey Guðjónsson
Another change in management towards the end of the 2005/06 season ended with City enjoying a renaissance in form under the guidance of Rob Kelly. The highlight of the season - which resulted in a 16th-placed finish - was undoubtedly Joey Guðjónsson's strike from the half-way line in a victory over Hull City at home. The Icelandic star also scooped the Player of the Season prize before leaving in the summer.

05
2006/07 - Iain Hume
Canadian striker Iain Hume found the net on 14 occasions during the 2006/07 campaign, which also included the takeover by Milan Mandarić. Although Leicester initially were in a relegation fight this year, Hume's goals helped the Foxes finish 19th - 11 points above the drop zone.

06
2007/08 - Richard Stearman
Although the 2007/08 season ended with the Club's first-ever relegation to League 1, formerly the Third Division, one moment to savour was for Academy graduate, Richard Stearman, who collected both Leicester City's Player and Players' Player of the Season prizes in May. Stearman made 44 appearances in all competitions for the Foxes that season.

07
2008/09 - Steve Howard
There was much more to celebrate the following season as the Foxes bounced back immediately to win the League 1 title under Nigel Pearson. One of the many stars of the side in 2008/09 was striker Steve Howard, who was the perfect partner for Matty Fryatt, scoring 15 goals throughout the campaign.
-
08
2009/10 - Jack Hobbs
It was perhaps a sign of how quickly the Club had progressed in 2009/10 when Leicester City were disappointed to miss out on successive promotions. The Foxes finished fifth in the Championship and lost out to Cardiff City in the play-offs, but Jack Hobbs was an emerging talent in the side, impressive over 49 outings for Nigel Pearson's men.

09
2010/11 - Richie Wellens
Although not able to attend the awards evening at King Power Stadium due to illness, Richie Wellens bagged the Club's Player of the Season prize in 2010/11. A campaign which began with Paulo Sousa in charge of the Foxes ended with Sven-Göran Eriksson overseeing a late dash for the play-offs. Wellens made 51 outings for City, who finished the year in 10th.

10
2011/12 - Kasper Schmeichel
A youthful-looking Kasper Schmeichel was the recipient of his first of two Player of the Season awards in 2011/12. Signed from Leeds United the previous summer, the Danish shot-stopper was an instant hit with the Foxes faithful, starring 52 times in all competitions, at the beginning of a magical era for himself and the Club at King Power Stadium.
-
11
2012/13 - Wes Morgan
Another player who would go on to achieve unbelievable success at the Club was Wes Morgan, who ended his first season in Leicester with the Player of the Season prize too. More play-off heartbreak was to follow - at Watford - but it was clear Nigel Pearson, now back at King Power Stadium, was building a squad geared for a return to the Premier League.
-
12
2013/14 - Danny Drinkwater
Leicester City's 10-year wait for Premier League football finally came to an end in the summer of 2014. Danny Drinkwater, signed from Manchester United two years earlier, was a vital member of Nigel Pearson's Foxes squad, who sealed the Championship title en route to promotion back to the top flight.
-
13
2014/15 - Esteban Cambiasso
The Foxes' return to the Premier League enabled them to attract the vastly-experienced former Real Madrid and Inter Milan central midfielder, Esteban Cambiasso. The Argentine did not disappoint the Blue Army either, scoring memorable goals, most notably in a 5-3 win over Manchester United, before playing a big role in City's 'Great Escape' from relegation.
-
14
2015/16 - Riyad Mahrez
Quite remarkably, Leicester City won the Premier League title in 2015/16 - only their second season back in the top flight. While the likes of Jamie Vardy and N'Golo Kanté also dazzled during the Club's best-ever season, under the management of Claudio Ranieri, Riyad Mahrez was a worthy winner of the Player of the Season prize after scoring 18 goals for the triumphant Foxes.
-
15
2016/17 - Kasper Schmeichel
2011/12 winner Kasper Schmeichel joined Gary Mills, Simon Grayson and Robbie Savage in the club of players to win Leicester City's Player of the Season award on two occasions in 2016/17. The Denmark international famously saved penalties in each leg of the Foxes' UEFA Champions League Round of 16 victory over FC Sevilla - two of his 41 appearances for the Club that term.
-
16
2017/18 - Harry Maguire
Harry Maguire capped off his first season as a Fox, which included a call-up to the England senior team, with Leicester City's highest honour at the end of the 2017/18 campaign. Maguire slotted into Leicester City's line-up during a season which ended with Claude Puel in charge. Later that summer, Maguire would become the first LCFC player to score for England at a FIFA World Cup finals as the Three Lions reached the semi-finals.
-
17
2018/19 - Ricardo Pereira
Portugal international Ricardo Pereira became the latest in a long line of Foxes stars to scoop the top prize at the end of his first season in Leicester. Ricardo added real quality to City's starting XI, operating as an attacking full-back for Leicester, and impressing new manager Brendan Rodgers greatly after his appointment in February 2019.
-
18
2019/20 - Jamie Vardy
Jamie Vardy cemented his status as Leicester City's greatest-ever Premier League striker with 23 goals across the 2019/20 season. The campaign was elongated due to the COVID-19 pandemic and, once English football returned in June, the 33-year-old got to work towards netting his 100th top-flight goal and securing the Premier League Golden Boot as City finished fifth - booking a place in the UEFA Europa League.
-
19
2020/21 - Youri Tielemans
Belgian star Youri Tielemans played some of the best football of his career in 2020/21, making 50 appearances and scoring nine goals. His biggest contribution, of course, was a stunning strike at Wembley Stadium on 15 May, 2021 to win the Club's first-ever FA Cup after 137 years of waiting for the Foxes. The fact voting had closed before the cup final, though, is a testament to the incredible season Youri enjoyed in Leicester's colours.
-
20
2021/22 - James Maddison
James Maddison enjoyed an extraordinary season for the Foxes in 2021/22, netting 18 goals - his most fruitful year in front of goal since joining Leicester in 2018 – and is the first player since that year to register 10+ goals and assists for the Club in a single season.
-
21
2022/23 - Kelechi Iheanacho
Kelechi Iheanacho hit eight goals for the Foxes during the 2022/23 season, which saw the Club relegated from the Premier League.
