The Foxes welcome Liverpool to King Power Stadium on Sunday in Premier League 2 Division 1 (1pm BST kick-off), hoping to secure a first victory in 10 matches in all competitions.
That run of form has seen City’s youngsters fall out of contention at the Premier League 2 summit, but Dewsbury-Hall, 20, says confidence remains high in the changing room.
“We had a good start to the season and we were up there around Christmas,” the tough-tackling midfielder told LCFC TV. “We were getting good wins against the teams around us.
“But in the last couple of weeks, we haven’t really had the rub of the green. We’ve played well in games but we’ve lost out so it’s been a tough period for the team.
The older you get, you learn more, and you get more experience. The more games you play, you pick up stuff to take forward with you so I’ve learned a lot this season.

“We’ve got a young team so, for what we’ve had, we’ve done well at times this season and we’re looking to finish the season strongly.”
Dewsbury-Hall has been one of City’s most consistent performers this season, scoring three goals in 32 appearances for the Club’s Under-23s side.
For a young player looking to step up to the next level, that playing time has been crucial for Dewsbury-Hall and the Academy graduate says he can take it into next season.
“I’ve been happy with how I’ve played this season,” he added.

“I’ve been lucky not to pick up many injuries and I’ve played pretty much every minute and I think I’ve been able to put in some pretty good performances.
“It’s massively important to be playing. The fact that I’ve been out there for almost every game means that I’ve been able to show what I can do and get my name out there.
“You want to make the next step as a young player so this season has been massive.
