Just over a month later, Josh Eppiah’s brace, which included a stunning 90th-minute winner, earned a 2-1 success over Grimsby after they recovered from a goal down to emerge victorious at Blundell Park.
Leicester’s last outing in the Leasing.com Trophy, meanwhile, came earlier this month, and it was perhaps their most impressive in the tournament to date, as they beat Sky Bey League 1 side Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
