The Foxes go into Saturday's fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion at AMEX Stadium occupying second place in the table on the back of five consecutive wins in all competitions.
Barnes, 21, meanwhile, has starred in 11 of City's 12 top flight fixtures this term, registering four assists, and scoring a stunner at Sheffield United in August.
As Leicester look to extend their lead within the top four at the weekend, Barnes says Brendan Rodgers' men approach the challenge with a strong sense of confidence.
Friday Fives: Harvey Barnes
Friday Fives continues with a focus on Harvey Barnes' goals and assists for Leicester City so far this season.
"It’s a great place to be at the minute," the Academy graduate said this week. "You can see the buzz around the Club and as a player, being involved in it is great.
"We’re going into most games at the minute thinking we’re going to win. It’s a great feeling to be as confident as we are as a team and as individuals as well.
"It’s going to help massively and I think our performances at the minute are showing that. We’ve got a good mix at the minute."
Everyone’s just dying to get on the ball and to link up and create things if it’s not for themselves, then for other people and I think that has shown in a lot of our goals.

It's that mix of youth and experience which Barnes says distinguishes the Foxes from their rivals and allows them to play a defensively solid, yet potent attacking game.
"We’ve got a lot of youthful players in the side and we have got those senior players as well, which I suppose are sort of holding the team together," he added.
"You need that experience, but as a whole we are very young and I think that’s showing in our football. We’re very exciting to watch and we’re playing some very good football.
Barnes' Goal Of The Month Winner
Harvey Barnes picked up the Budweiser Goal of the Month award for August for his effort against Sheffield United.
"I think we’re building very good connections on and off the pitch. I think you can see when we’re on the pitch, everyone wants to play for each other, everyone wants to get on the ball.
"Everyone’s just dying to get on the ball and to link up and create things if it’s not for themselves, then for other people and I think that has shown in a lot of our goals.
"I think we’re all really excited to see where the season takes us."
