Top of the Premier League and with a perfect record in the UEFA Europa League, City have earned plenty of plaudits already this term following a string of convincing results, both domestically and in Europe.
Their run of six-straight wins in all competitions has included impressive victories over Arsenal, Leeds United and SC Braga, while a stunning 5-2 triumph at Manchester City in late September caught the eye of many across the continent.
Taking stock ahead of the international break, LCFC.com runs you through the key statistics from City's 2020/21 campaign to date...
Premier League standing: 1
The Foxes made headlines with a 5-2 Premier League win at Manchester City in September.
Leicester City sit atop of the English football pyramid heading into the third international break of the 2020/21 season following a trio of impressive victories in the Premier League.
Away wins at Arsenal and Leeds United were followed up by Sunday’s 1-0 success against Wolverhampton Wanderers, courtesy of Jamie Vardy’s first-half penalty.
City are closely followed by Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, both on 17 points, with the Reds next up in the Premier League on Saturday 21 November (3pm kick-off GMT).
UEL Group G standing: 1
Kelechi Iheanacho scored two goals, and set up a third, in the 4-0 win over SC Braga last week.
Brendan Rodgers’ men possess a 100 per cent record in the UEFA Europa League having already beaten all three sides in Group G.
They matched their own Club record for their all-time biggest win in Europa in their opening fixture after beating Ukraine side Zorya Luhansk 3-0 on Filbert Way last month.
That Club record was then broken two weeks later, when they swept SC Braga aside 4-0 having also beaten AEK Athens in Greece seven days earlier.
Points accumulated: 27
The Belgium international finds the net in a 4-1 win at Leeds United - Leicester City's biggest-ever triumph at Elland Road.
Across both the Premier League and the Europa League, the Foxes have accumulated 27 points from 11 games, losing only twice in the process.
Their four home wins and five away victories – a 100 per cent record on opposition soil and a Club record of winning their first five away games – have helped them top the table in both competitions.
City’s 18 points from eight Premier League outings in 2020/21 makes it their best-ever start to a top-flight campaign, bettering the previous record of 15 points from seven games set in 2000/01.
Goals scored: 27
Jamie Vardy, from the spot, scores his eighth Premier League goal of 2020/21 with a penalty against Wolves.
There are only two teams – Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea – that have scored more goals than Leicester City in the Premier League this season.
Led by the talismanic Jamie Vardy, who has scored nine goals in eight appearances in all competitions, the Foxes have also netted a further nine goals in the Europa League.
Their goalscoring exploits in Europe are bettered only by four clubs in the 48-team competition – Bayer Leverkusen, Benfica, Villarreal and Hoffenheim.
Clean sheets: 5
Kasper Schmeichel has kept three clean sheets in the Premier League this term.
Leicester City and Kasper Schmeichel’s three clean sheets in the 2020/21 Premier League ranks them joint-fourth, level with Chelsea’s three shutouts.
Only Aston Villa, Southampton and Wolverhampton Wanderers (four) have more clean sheets than City this term, while the nine goals they have conceded is the joint-top fewest in the division.
In Europe, two wins to nil against Zorya Luhansk and SC Braga means in 12 outings in all competitions, Leicester have kept five shutouts in total.
Tackles made: 132
James Justin has completed the most tackles (15) of any Fox in the Premier League this season.
City’s joint-best defensive record in the Premier League is thanks in part to the 132 tackles they have completed in England’s top flight this campaign.
That places them sixth in the division for tackles made, bettered only by Leeds United (168), Everton (158), Southampton (151), Crystal Palace (141) and West Bromwich Albion (135).
Versatile defender James Justin, who has played in numerous positions across City’s back line in 2020/21 has racked up the most tackles of any one Fox, completing 15 in total.
