Leicester City Supporting Rainbow Laces Return

- LCFC to support Rainbow Laces campaign in its upcoming fixtures

The Club will join the Premier League in backing Stonewall’s campaign, with the aim of promoting equality and diversity in both football and society through education and being an ally.

Leicester City believes firmly that football is for everyone and should be welcoming to the gay, lesbian, bi and trans community at all levels – which is why is proudly supports a campaign that can send a powerful message from the world of football.

To help promote this message, Rainbow branding will be visible throughout King Power Stadium and rainbow armbands available for team captains. In addition to this, the Club’s social media presence will proudly share the message by adding a rainbow theme to the crest to add more support to the initiative.

Rainbow Laces seeks to inspire sports fans and participants, educate everyone about what it’s like to be LGBT in sport and encourage people to take action, by raising funds for LGBT equality or calling for change against the discrimination LGBT people face in sport.

Leicester City are committed to making football a game for everyone and do not tolerate homophobic or discriminatory language.
