The Foxes welcome Frank Lampard's Blues to King Power Stadium on Tuesday evening (8:15pm kick-off) after extending their unbeaten run to six games with Saturday's 2-0 success over Southampton

Speaking to the national media via Zoom inside the King Power Centre at LCFC Training Ground on Monday afternoon, Rodgers confirmed his squad is in good health ahead of their 19th league outing.

"Obviously, Dennis [Praet] is out for a period of time (with a hamstring complaint)," the Northern Irishman revealed after training in Seagrave. "Everyone else should be fine.

[Ricardo's] going to be an important player for us in the second part of the season, but he’s available and it’s just step by step for him.

"Papy Mendy just has a slight strain in his neck, so we'll see how he is, but apart from that, everyone else will be fine. We've got a fully fit squad, virtually, which puts us in a good place."

Full-back Ricardo Pereira, on the other hand, was on the bench for City's victory on Saturday and could feature on Tuesday, but Rodgers says it may be a gradual reintroduction after a groin injury.

"It’s a long season," the 47-year-old continued. "It’s great to have him back and available after 10 months or so. It’s just about timing, really.

James Maddison and Harvey Barnes fired the Foxes to victory over Southampton.

"He’s going to be an important player for us in the second part of the season, but he’s available and it’s just step by step for him."

After the exertion of that Saints clash, Rodgers was pleased to confirm that his squad came through the challenge unscathed ahead of their second home outing in four days.

"It was a tough game for us, physically and mentality, but we came through it and got a great result," he added. "We’re doing everything we can to recover the players and they’ll be up and ready for the game."
