Leicester City Development Squad striker Jacob Wakeling has been nominated for January’s Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.

The Foxes youngster scored twice during the month, netting in games against Manchester United and Everton.
A total of seven players have been nominated for the award, with the winner to be announced via the Premier League’s website and the PL Youth Twitter page.
The shortlist was chosen by the Premier League Football Development panel after coaches nominated the best performances by players in each league fixture.
