The Foxes head south on Friday to face the Saints at St. Mary's Stadium for an 8pm kick-off hoping to secure a fourth win in a row in all competitions and strengthen their position in the Premier League standings as the 2020/21 season reaches an exciting climax.
Söyüncü missed a short spell of fixtures in early April following the international break, but returned to help Leicester book their place in the final of the Emirates FA Cup with a 1-0 win over Southampton.
That success in the capital was followed by consecutive Premier League triumphs over West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace at King Power Stadium.
"It was a great week for me and my team-mates," the Turkey international told LCFC TV earlier this week. "We won all three games, are in the final of the FA Cup, and won two of our Premier League games.

Goals from Timothy Castagne and Kelechi Iheanacho sealed a 2-1 success over the Eagles on Filbert Way.
"I missed playing, so it was very good to be back and to be winning the games. Like any other game, it is very important to get three points, but when you are approaching towards the end of the season, three points becomes more meaningful.
"When you win a game, you get three points, but at the end of the season, it’s very, very important, so we were really happy to get them."
Söyüncü has formed a formidable defensive trio alongside Jonny Evans and Wesley Fofana in 2021 and the 24-year-old says much of their success comes down to the enjoyment they get from playing with one another for the Foxes.
"I’m very happy to be able to play with them, that’s the most important thing," he added. "You might be winning games, but you might not be feeling that happy.
The tactics we get from the manager, we’ll try to stick to it. Once you do that, it doesn’t matter how the other team plays. We’ll give our best for the 90 minutes.

"It makes it special when you’re happy playing with the players that are with you. We learn from each other a lot, we have a great relationship and we are trying to continue in this happy way.
"It’s difficult sometimes to keep this going, but we are doing our best to do that. I would like to thank them as well for being there."
A third game of the season against the Saints is next up for City on the South Coast this Friday and Söyüncü outlined how the squad has been preparing for the encounter with Ralph Hasenhüttl's men.
"I believe all the analysis has been done on them by the management," he explained. "The tactics we get from the manager, we’ll try to stick to it. Once you do that, it doesn’t matter how the other team plays. We’ll give our best for the 90 minutes."
