Left-back Luke Thomas started for England Under-21s as part of their UEFA U21 European Championship qualification campaign against Czech Republic in Burnley.
Having collected seven points from their opening three games in Group G, the young Lions secured a big victory over the pool leaders as strikes from Anthony Gordon and Folarin Balogun added to Martin Vitik's early own goal.
Earlier in the day, defender Daniel Amartey played the full 90 minutes for Ghana in their 1-1 draw with Ethiopia in Africa's 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification.
Although Andre Ayew originally gave the Black Stars the lead, Getaneh Kebede equalised with 18 minutes to play at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg.

Youngsters Ben Nelson and Sammy Braybrooke, meanwhile, featured for England Under-18s in their 3-2 friendly loss against Netherlands at the Pinatar Arena in Spain.
