Sophie Howard has once again been named in the Scotland senior women’s squad for their upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers later this month.

The LCFC Women defender, who won her 22nd international cap last month, is part of a 23-player squad selected by head coach Pedro Martinez Losa for fixtures against Ukraine and Spain.
The Scots will welcome Ukraine to Hampden Park on Friday 26 November (7:35pm kick-off), ahead of travelling to tackle Spain at Estadio de La Cartuja on Tuesday 30 November (8pm kick-off).
Hoping to reach the 2023 tournament, which will be held in Australia and New Zealand, Scotland currently sit second in Group B, level on nine points with leaders Spain after three matches.
