Portugal international Ricardo, who signed a new deal at the Club until 2026 on Friday, scored for the Foxes in their last Premier League outing – a 2-2 draw with West Ham United at King Power Stadium last week. Leicester also defeated Randers 4-1 in the UEFA Europa Conference League in midweek.

Wolves, on the other hand, have climbed the league standings over recent weeks, with a 2-0 win at Tottenham Hotspur last time out propelling Bruno Lage's men up to seventh, six points away from the coveted UEFA Champions League qualification berths.

"It's a very difficult game for sure," Ricardo told LCFC TV. "For them, playing at home, after a very good victory against Tottenham, it will be a tough one. They are having a nice season. They are up there. It will be a nice challenge for us, but we have to go for it. We believe we can bring the victory.

"That’s what we will try to do. They don’t give too many chances to the opponent. We will need to be concentrated. We cannot give them chances because we won’t have a lot, normally, but at the same time, we have the quality to be dangerous and to create chances. We need to be clinical."

Rodgers: We'll Be Ready For Wolves

That draw with the Hammers, albeit involving an improved performance, was met by disappointment at full-time considering the late nature of the visitors' equaliser. The Foxes will learn from the experience, though, according to Ricardo, who is confident Leicester can go on a positive run of form.

"The mood was not good to be honest," he admitted. "We were disappointed. It was like a defeat for us after coming back like we did, starting the game losing and winning at the end of the game. You think you’re close [to a win] and, with that setback at the end, the mood was not great.

"At the same time, we talked about the positives and take that forward. We’ll try to do even better and secure the three points. That’s the most important thing.

"I felt that we were [back to our best]. The game was more fluid. We were more aggressive. We had the ball. I don’t remember them creating many chances in the second half especially.

"There were a lot of positives and now we just need to keep doing that and correct the bits that were not quite as good in that game to improve."

Ricardo Pereira vs. West Ham United

Ricardo Pereira nods home for Leicester City - the Portuguese's first goal of the season - in a 2-2 draw with West Ham United.

Ricardo was on the scoresheet for City against West Ham, netting a fine header in the second half, and after an ACL injury was followed by other fitness issues, the Portuguese former Porto full-back admits it led to an outpouring of emotion in the celebration.

"It was very good, an emotional one!" the 28-year-old explained. "You could see all the frustration and, at the same time, happiness after everything. It was a very good moment that I will always remember. The team, I think, they shared the emotions with me too.

"That was a very nice moment, especially scoring at King Power Stadium, which was nice. My last goal was at home. The injury happened at home and, after a long time without fans, it was a little bit of everything. It was very special for sure."
