Just five days on from a goalless draw with Derby County, which extended the Foxes’ unbeaten run to six league games, attentions turn to facing Spurs at Lamex Stadium in Stevenage.

City head into the encounter sitting eighth in the PL2 table, two points and two places behind Spurs, though they do have a game in hand on the north London side.

It is likely to be another tough test for the side, with Tottenham having taken all three points from the reverse fixture at LCFC Training Ground back in November. Winning 4-1 courtesy of Harvey White’s brace, alongside goals from Malachi Fagan-Walcott and Tobi Omole, Tawanda Maswanhise had netted early on for Leicester.

Speaking to LCFC.com this week, coach Ben Petty assessed the challenge in hand against the Lilywhites: “It’s an opportunity to get above Tottenham in the table. We’ve played them once and they were probably one of the best teams we’ve played.

“I know they’ve had one or two bad results recently, but they’ve got some really good players and it’s going to be a big test. It’s definitely a challenge for us to go away twice in a week.”
