We Have To Go Again, Says Ricardo
- Ricardo Pereira reacts to Leicester City's 2-1 loss at Crystal Palace
- The Portuguese scored the Foxes' only goal at Selhurst Park on Saturday
- City must put the game behind then and move on quickly, he says
The Portuguese full-back's second-half strike put City ahead at Selhurst Park, before Daniel Iversen's own goal and a last-minute strike from Jean-Philippe Mateta condemned the visitors to a Premier League defeat.
"It’s a tough one to take," Ricardo told LCFC TV. "With one minute to the end, we [concede] a goal. It was hard game, a difficult game. We suffered in the game. When we had time with the ball, we did good things but then, unfortunately, with a free-kick from nowhere, we’re unlucky. Then it's the details that are making the difference. We need to do better."
We have to go again. We have now two games at home and in two days we have a big chance to put things in a good shape for us.

The former Porto man was pleased to net for the Foxes in south London, but admits it now feels flat knowing it didn't contribute to the accumulation of points.
"I think we started [the second half] well and the goal was important, but at the end, it doesn't matter," he added. "It was a good vision from Tim [Castagne] to see me there, but unfortunately, it's just a goal with no meaning."
With two quick-fire home games against Aston Villa and AFC Bournemouth coming up, Ricardo says Leicester must recover quickly and get back to winning ways.
"Sometimes, when you are in this type of moment, it seems like everything is against you, but it is what it is," City's No.21 explained.
"We have to go again. We have two games at home and in two days we have a big chance to put things in a good shape for us. We have to move fast and switch [focus] because in two days you have another game. You cannot [dwell] on this game."
