Accessibility – What We Offer At LCFC

Leicester City provide a range of facilities to help supporters with disabilities enjoy the fan experience at King Power Stadium.
More on this story...

Ahead of the Club’s dedicated Disability Matters fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, take a look at the offerings delivered by LCFC on matchdays and beyond to ensure Filbert Way is a safe space for all, as the Football Club takes steps to become an even more accessible organisation.

Starting on 19 April, a Disability Matters Shopping Hour has launched in the Foxes Fanstore - from 9:30am to 10:30am on the third Wednesday of each month - allowing those with disabilities to have their own private shopping experience.

Registered members of Leicester City’s Disability Support Association (DSA), an independent organisation who work with the Club to improve the matchday experience for supporters with disabilities, can receive a 20 per cent in-store discount, to take advantage of the new merchandise now available within the Fanstore, with a range exclusively tailored for disabled fans.

On matchdays, a dedicated stewarding team helps supporters with disabilities to ensure they enjoy their experience at King Power Stadium. Each area of the ground has wheelchair user access, with accessible toilets in the concourses. Access is granted via RADAR keys obtained from stewards or a member of the corporate stewards team.

There are a range of accessbility tools available around King Power Stadium for supporters with disabilities.

Every stand at King Power Stadium is fitted with lower-level counters. Stewards can assist with ordering and transporting food and drink to the designated seating areas, while disability wardens will provide blankets and any other services required.

Two wheelchair accessible turnstiles, introduced prior to the 2021/22 season, are located in the West Stand at turnstiles four and nine. In addition, the Club runs wheelchair accessible coach travel for all away fixtures throughout the season.

Several facilities can be provided for visually impaired supporters, ensuring the stadium is well equipped to further enhance their experience. Audio descriptive service headsets, with full commentary, are available from the matchday staff entrance an hour-and-a-half before kick-off and must be returned following the conclusion of matches. Guide dogs are also welcome at the stadium.

Hearing loops, meanwhile, are fitted and clearly signed at various locations around King Power Stadium including the ticket office, Foxes Fanstore, main reception and catering outlets.

Autism packs, which include ear defenders, can also be obtained. Supporters are encouraged to pre-order these prior to matchdays by emailing disability@lcfc.co.uk, before collecting from the Fanstore.
