LCFC Women can confirm that 12 First Team players depart Belvoir Drive this summer as the Club begins preparations for the upcoming 2023/24 Barclays Women's Super League season.
Former Club captain Sophie Barker leaves having spent the current campaign on loan with FA Women's Championship outfit Sheffield United, while Natasha Flint departs City having spent the second half of the season with Scottish Women's Premiership side Celtic.
Championship title-winning team members Kirstie Levell, Charlie Devlin and Lachante Paul will also leave Willie Kirk's squad following the conclusion of their contracts in Leicester.
Manager Willie Kirk told LCFC.com: “Our thanks go out to all the players who are moving on this summer for their efforts in a Leicester City shirt. They leave with the Club in a strong position and ready to build on the successes of our first two seasons in the top division of women’s football.
“We have a growing fanbase, an exciting core of talented young players and a bright future ahead of us. We head into a summer now that will see us strengthen even further around that core group as we look to use the achievements of the past few years as a foundation for continued progress and success.”
Molly Pike, Jess Sigsworth, Abbie McManus, Connie Scofield and Jemma Purfield also leave for pastures new having made a meaningful contribution to the Foxes’ two maiden seasons in the women’s top flight.
Youngsters Ellen Jones and Georgia Eaton-Collins also transition into free-agency following their moves from the United States college football system.
