Enzo Maresca’s side were first up on Filbert Way in the morning, signing autographs and posing for selfies with fans upon their arrival at the stadium, before heading out onto the pitch where they were greeted by warm applause from the Blue Army and had more opportunities for pictures with their heroes.

Just four days away from the Sky Bet Championship season starting, it was a first chance to get a glimpse of the Foxes stars who will take to the pitch this season, including new signings Stephy Mavididi, Mads Hermansen, Callum Doyle and Harry Winks.
Put through their paces by the coaching staff, with support from the watching crowd, it was further preparation for facing Midlands outfit Coventry City back on Filbert Way on Sunday (12pm BST kick-off).

Manager Maresca took to the mic to share his thoughts ahead of the weekend, as did Fitness Coach Marcos Alvares in a chat with LCFC presenter Dan Bates, while the players showed their appreciation for fans young and old who turned out on Filbert Way.
LCFC Women then took to the field as Willie Kirk’s side continue to press ahead for their new Barclays Women’s Super League campaign, which is now less than two months away.

A series of fitness drills and ball work set the tone for another beneficial session for the squad, which included several summer recruits. It was a first chance to see German forward Lena Petermann and she gave some insight into her first weeks as a Foxes player during a pitchside interview in front of the crowd.
Kirk also addressed the stadium and thanked the Foxes who attended for their support, and the Women’s players also stopped to meet and greet before their session got underway.
The Foxes legends met fans who purchased the 2023/24 third shirt on its first day of sale.
Elsewhere, LCFC legends Gerry Taggart, Ali Mauchlen Steve Walsh, and Matt Elliott were also present at the event, meeting fans and heading into the Foxes Fanstore where they tried on the new adidas third shirt for size, following its release on Wednesday.
