LCFC Women Trio Nominated For October Awards

- Willie Kirk shortlisted for Manager of the Month award
- Aimee Palmer strike against Bristol City nominated for Goal of the Month
- Performances see Lena Petermann up for Player of the Month
- Voting to close at 10am Monday 30 October

Kirk receives the Manger of the Month award nomination having guided his team to wins over Bristol City and Everton before earning a point away from home against Manchester United.

He faces competition from Liverpool’s Matt Beard, Chelsea manager Emma Hayes, Gareth Taylor of Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur's Robert Vilahamn.

City midfielder Palmer has also been shortlisted for an October award having received commendation for her spectacular left-footed strike against Bristol City at the start of the month – a goal that set the Foxes up for a 4-2 victory at Ashton Gate.

Fellow summer signing Petermann is in contention for a Player of the Month honour having displayed commanding performances during a progressive month for City. Her contributions have seen the forward notch two goals and register one assist.
