The Foxes welcome Tony Mowbray's Blues to King Power Stadium for a 3pm GMT kick-off, hoping to put their name in the hat for the fifth-round draw. City, who won the FA Cup in 2021, are currently top of the Sky Bet Championship.

While Wilfred Ndidi's situation is unchanged from the three-month prognosis confirmed earlier this January, Maresca at least has no fresh injuries to contend with. Jamie Vardy also returned during Monday's Ipswich Town draw.

"They are all available," the Manager said in Seagrave on Friday, confirming the availability of the majority of his squad.

In the last game, we tried to adapt to manage the situation with Ricky and Kiernan [Dewsbury-Hall].

Enzo Maresca on midfield considerations

Cesare Casadei's early return to Chelsea this month has sparked a tactical question for Maresca, on the other hand, with Ndidi still out. On Tuesday, Ricardo Pereira played in a more advanced position to help City adapt to the challenge.

"Since we started, in all our games, we always played with Cesare or Wilf, one of them," he added. "In the last game, we tried to adapt to manage the situation with Ricky and Kiernan [Dewsbury-Hall].

"Cesare’s and Wilf’s skills are different to Ricky or Kiernan in terms of physicality. We are here to try to find solutions."

Several young players from the Club's Academy could also be in line for action against Birmingham, Maresca said.

"It will be a chance for them," he said. "For tomorrow’s game, we will try to involve the players which, in this moment, have less minutes and some second-team players. For sure, they will have an opportunity."
