Alves Scores In U21s Draw With Palace
Leicester's youngsters have won twice in the last three outings, both victories coming in the Premier League Cup. First of all, against Fulham in January, a late goal from Logan Briggs resulted in victory in Seagrave before clinching passage to the knockout stages with a 3-2 home win against Brentford.
In the PL2 however, City haven't seen victory in six games since winning 3-1 away at Fulham back in September as Wanya Marçal, Silko Thomas and Kian Pennant all found the net at Motspur Park.

Battling in Seagrave.
The Foxes headed into the fixture in Seagrave towards the bottom of the standings with nine points, and seven behind Monday's counterparts Crystal Palace. The visitors took the lead after 25 minutes through Luke Plange, who was assisted by Roshuan Mathurin.
Six minutes before the break, Leicester were back level again when talented midfielder Alves, who recently returned from a long-term injury, netted for City, as a goalless second half resulted in the points being shared.
Before the final whistle, there was a serious injury to Palace player Joe Sheridan, who received the necessary medical attention, forcing the game to be abandoned at 86 minutes. However, the 1-1 scoreline has since been confirmed after an agreement was reached between the clubs and the Premier League.
The draw allows Leicester to overtake Newcastle United and take their tally up to 10 points before they travel to the capital to take on Palace once again on Friday 1 March when the two sides meet in the Premier League Cup.
