U21s Wrap Up PL2 Season With West Ham Win
Having concluded their home fixture schedule with a 3-0 triumph over Stoke City in Seagrave last Monday, the young Foxes arrived at Rush Green Training Ground intent on completing the 2023/24 campaign in style.
However, up against a side chasing the PL2 title, it wasn't going to be easy. Just one change from the side saw Ben Nelson come in for Oliver Ewing, with Arjan Raikhy moving up into the midfield.

Joe Wormleighton captained the side in the capital.
The Foxes looked sharp from the off, scoring two minutes in when Silko Thomas set up Chris Popov to find the net. The lead was doubled via Sammy Braybrooke's 18th-minute goal, putting City in a commanding position.
Nelson then assisted Will Alves to make it three just after the half-hour mark to establish a healthy advantage at the interval.
The Hammers pulled one back following the break, Kamarai Simon-Swyer striking on 48 minutes, but it wouldn’t be enough to take anything from the game.

It was a second successive victory for the side coached by Ben Petty.
Currently positioned 20th in the 26-team league, Leicester finished with 20 points from 20 matches, but the standings could change depending on results elsewhere. City head to Hong Kong next month, meanwhile, to compete in the HKFC Soccer Sevens tournament.
