Amandine joins the Foxes following an extensive recruitment process, signing a three-year contract after seven successful years with French Première Ligue outfit Stade de Reims.

Amandine Miquel said: "I am very excited for this new project. Right now, the WSL is one of the best leagues in the world and it's the place to be. I am very pleased that I have the opportunity to be here.
"It will be amazing to manage in such a nice stadium and to have the fans supporting the women's game. I want to get the best out of every player and help the team climb the table. We want to make our fans proud of their team.
“For any manager, the idea is to take the team to the next level. There is big potential here with this team and the Club has equally ambitious objectives.

"I definitely have my own footballing philosophy. Football has to be a show, we have to be ambitious, and we want to play offensive football. It's important for everyone to have that fighting spirit."
Leicester City Chief Executive Susan Whelan said: “We’re enormously excited about Amandine’s appointment. Her candidacy stood out from the earliest stages of the process and, after meeting with her, it became apparent very quickly that she has the personality, technical qualities and leadership skills we’re looking for.
“As an innovative coach looking to further establish herself in the game, make an impression in the WSL and develop women’s football, her ambitions match our own and we very much look forward to welcoming her to LCFC Women.”

She was appointed Reims manager in 2017 and earned promotion to the top tier of French football in 2019, marking the club’s return to the premier division for the first time since 1989.
Amandine’s skills as a coach and tactician have helped Reims make continual year-on-year improvements in league finishing positions, points totals and goal difference during her time with the club. She has also guided Reims to the Coupe de France Quarter-Finals on three occasions within the last five years, while maintaining an average squad age of 23.
She will link up with her new squad during pre-season as they begin preparations for the 2024/25 Barclays Women’s Super League season, as well as the Perth International Cup later this summer.
