Denny Draper Signs First Pro Contract

- Academy graduate Denny Draper signs professional terms

The talented 17-year-old signs professional terms at King Power Stadium having already enjoyed valuable training time within the Foxes’ senior environment at Belvoir Drive.

Speaking to LCFC.com, Denny said: “This is a really proud moment for me and my family. Coming through the Academy, this is what you dream of. For this to now be a reality is an amazing feeling.

“Being around the First Team last season really helped me develop and there is a pathway that others can follow. I’ve grown as a player and a person during my two years in Leicester and the Academy has been influential in me making the jump to the First Team."

An exciting prospect, Denny’s progression has seen the striker represent the First Team in the Barclays Women’s Super League on four occasions, beginning with a substitute appearance against Manchester United in October 2023.

Her first goal for the Football Club came just four months after her debut, with Denny netting a memorable strike in a 5-2 league win over Bristol City on Filbert Way.

Recognised internationally at youth level, Denny signs her first professional contract with the Club as an England Under-17 youth team regular and further strengthens the attacking options at City’s disposal.

She will now look forward to continuing her progression and linking back up with her team-mates in July as the Foxes prepare for a fourth consecutive season competing in the WSL.
