Leicester City defender Jannik Vestergaard has been honoured with a place in the PFA Championship Team of the Year for the 2023/24 season.
The Danish centre-back was a key figure as the Foxes earned promotion to the Premier League as Championship winners, with the 32-year-old featuring 42 times in the league as part of a defence that conceded just 41 goals – the fewest in the division.
In addition to Vestergaard’s recognition, former Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was also included, as the evening celebrated the achievements of players from across the leagues from the 2023/24 campaign.
