U18s Remain Unbeaten After Reading Draw
Beginning the U18 Premier League South campaign with an emphatic victory over West Bromwich Albion, the young Foxes were on home soil for the first time in 2024/25 at the weekend.
And despite falling behind to Ryan Beacroft's opener after half an hour in Seagrave, the hosts fought back to equalise courtesy of Laolu Omobolaji's strike with 20 minutes to play, set up by Kaleb Dyke.
The Royals took the lead once more, this time from the penalty spot as Jerae Jones converted from 12 yards, but again City managed to find a leveller.
Omobolaji was the man to provide it, assisted by Maxwell Adedeji, to complete his brace, providing an instant response to going behind and securing a point for the side coached by Adam Barradell.
Now fifth in the southern division, having taken four points from the opening two fixtures, a trip to Chelsea awaits in their next league outing this Saturday (12pm kick-off).
Before then, however, Manchester United are the visitors to LCFC Training Ground for the opening U18 Premier League Cup encounter (12:30pm kick-off).
