A loan deal has been reached for Chris Popov to join Sky Bet League 2 Barrow for the 2024/25 season, subject to Football League approval.

The 19-year-old forward made his senior debut for the Foxes as a second half substitute in the Club’s 4-0 win over Tranmere Rovers in the Carabao Cup Second Round on Tuesday evening.
The Wales youth international has been a regular for the Club’s Development Squad and has impressed in Premier League 2 since his arrival at Leicester City in 2021.
His footballing journey will now continue in Cumbria, with Stephen Clemence’s side facing a trip to Harrogate Town on Saturday 31 August.
