PL2 Reverse For U21s At Fulham

Two late goals saw Leicester City's Under-21s fall to a 3-1 league defeat at Fulham on Friday afternoon.

The Foxes youngsters were heading into the game off the back of a first Premier League 2 victory of the season over Liverpool but were beaten by the Cottagers at Motspur Park.

City did, however, take the lead in the capital, with summer signing Michael Golding breaking the deadlock just before the half-hour mark.

Kristian Sekularac hit back with an equaliser ahead of the break and Chibuzo Nwoko netted a late second with four minutes of normal time to play to complete the turnaround.

As Leicester pushed forward in hope of an injury-time leveller, the hosts added a third through Joshua King and ensured the points would be staying in west London.

Attention turns to the Premier League Cup this Friday night, with a trip to Hull City's Dransfield Stadium in North Ferriby awaiting. In PL2, meanwhile, City play host to Middlesbrough after the international break on Monday 23 September (both 7pm kick-offs).
