Following victory over Switzerland three days earlier, Leicester City defensive duo Victor Kristiansen and Jannik Vestergaard both started once again at Parken Stadium, as the Danes made full use of home advantage to notch up six points early on in their Nations League campaign.

A goal in each half did the damage in Copenhagen; Albert Grønbæk getting the scoring started with a 36th-minute strike, before Kristiansen set up Yussuf Poulsen to score an outrageous overhead-kick just after the hour-mark.

Kristiansen was then replaced by Morten Frendrup with 81 minutes on the clock, while Vestergaard played throughout to help keep a second consecutive clean sheet at the other end.

It leaves Lars Knudsen's side top of League A Group 4 ahead of the next round of fixtures, which sees Denmark travel to take on Spain in October.

There's plenty more Foxes international action to come on Monday, including Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu for Ghana, Morocco's Bilal El Khannouss, Wout Faes (Belgium), Caleb Okoli (Italy) and Danny Ward (Wales).
