Arrive Early: Fun-Filled Day As LCFC Women Host Arsenal

LCFC Women are set to kick off their 2024/25 Barclays Women's Super League home campaign in style this Sunday (29 September) as they host Arsenal at King Power Stadium.

- Supporters asked to ensure Mobile Tickets have been downloaded to their smartphones before arrival
- Season Tickets for 2024/25 are now on sale for just £45 for Adults

This highly anticipated fixture on Filbert Way will begin at 3pm, but the excitement starts well before kick-off. Fans are invited to arrive early and join in on a series of exciting pre-match activations around the stadium bowl.

Starting from 12pm, the entertainment kicks into gear with a live DJ, interactive games, and the chance to win a squad-signed LCFC Women match shirt!

Immerse yourself in a fun-filled atmosphere with plenty of football-themed entertainment, including the Pana Football Cage, Teqball Table, football shoot-outs, Table Football, and Sub Soccer games.

To add to the matchday excitement, fans can enjoy face painting before the game to show your LCFC Women pride in full colour, with Filbert Fox also in attendance to take photos and meet supporters. As you enter the stadium, special edition clappers will be supplied, designed to commemorate Sophie Howard's milestone of 100 appearances with LCFC Women.

Supporters planning to visit King Power Stadium this weekend are encouraged to factor in additional travel time due to Leicester Tigers kicking-off their fixture with Bath Rugby at same time action gets underway on Filbert Way.

MATCHDAY TIMINGS: 

- 10am: Foxes Fanstore opens  
- 12 noon: Pre-match entertainment begins including a live DJ, face painting and interactive games. 
- 1pm: Matchday Ticket Office open 
- 1.30pm: Turnstiles open
- 2pm: Chance to win a signed LCFC Women replica shirt at the stage area.  
- 3pm: Kick off  
- 3:30pm: Matchday Ticket Office closes
- 3.45pm: Half-time 
- 4pm: Foxes Fanstore closes 
- 4pm: Start of second half  
- 4.45pm: Match finishes 

TICKETS: 

Tickets can be purchased HERE, with a group discount of 15% off for groups of 6 or more (discount automatically applied to your basket).  

Groups of 13 or more save 25% off tickets with a free ticket for the lead booker. Click HERE to book for groups of 13 or more.  The deadline for group bookings is 3pm on Friday.

Supporters looking for an enhanced matchday experience can enjoy hospitality in the Banks Lounge, with a one-course carvery menu and padded match seats, as well as a post-match visit from a current LCFC Women's First Team player. We encourage supporters to purchase tickets in advance of the matchday to avoid queues and get the best choice of seats, however tickets will be available to purchase at the ground from the Matchday Ticket Office from 1pm.

HOW TO FIND US 

Train  

Leicester Train Station is roughly 1.2 miles from King Power Stadium. This equates to an approximate five-minute car journey or up to a 45-minute walk.  

To walk from Leicester Train Station: Cross London Road at the traffic lights, turn left and follow the road to King Power Stadium around to the right. Keep the Central Ring Road (Waterloo Way) on your left as the path separates from the road, staying on this path as it crosses New Walk. The path then re-joins the pavement, at which point Nelson Mandela Park will be in view. Turn right onto Lancaster Road and walk through the park, heading for the crossings by the public toilets. Cross Welford Road and turn left, following the road around – passing Morrisons supermarket – to King Power Stadium.

Car  

The M1 and M69 Motorways interchange at Junction 21 (M1), where you should exit and follow the signs for the City Centre via the A5460. After three miles, turn right onto Upperton Road, follow the road down until you get to the Liberty Statue Island and take the fifth exit down Western Boulevard. You will then see King Power Stadium on your right-hand side.  

Park and Ride 

Park & Ride There are three Park & Ride sites in Leicester, operating from 7am until 7pm, Monday to Saturday. Users of the Park & Ride services can PARK FOR FREE at the sites. For full details, including prices of Park & Ride services in Leicester, please visit choosehowyoumove.co.uk/park-ride 

Car Parking 

For supporters driving to King Power Stadium, parking can be purchased prior to the day of the match for £5 per car in Car Parks C&D – spaces are limited and likely to sell out. Parking must be pre-booked before 12 noon on Sunday 29 September. Click HERE to book.

There are also several independent car parks in the area surrounding King Power Stadium. The car parks are situated around Freeman’s Common and Leicester Tigers’ Welford Road stadium – all around a 10-minute walk from King Power Stadium.

Please also note that children under the age of two are not permitted into the stadium.
