Starting the new Barclays Women's Super League season with a point on the road to Liverpool, the Foxes head home for the first time to face the London outfit at King Power Stadium this Sunday afternoon (3pm kick-off).
Addressing the media at Belvoir Drive, the Manager spoke about the fitness of the squad, confirming there are no new injuries within the group that travelled to Merseyside, but shared more details on the absence of German forward Petermann.
"We have no new injuries since the Liverpool game," Miquel confirmed. "Lena Petermann felt some pain in the knee when we were in Australia, so we're taking some time to let that settle, which is why she has been out.
We're taking it easy with her workload at the moment.
Amandine Miquel on Lena Petermann
"We don't know how long that'll be because it's an inflammation pain. We're taking it easy with her workload at the moment and seeing how she's doing before assessing her ability to play."
On the long-term injury to Hannah Cain, who has been out since halfway through last season with a second ACL injury of her career, Miquel revealed she is nearing contention.
"Hannah [Cain] is doing well and we hope that she'll be back soon," she continued. "I can't say too much because I'm not a doctor, but she's progressing well and we hope to have her back as an option again soon."
All times BST.
