U21s Back To Winning Ways With Villa Triumph

Leicester City's Development Squad defeated Aston Villa 3-1 in a lively Premier League 2 encounter on Friday evening.

Following successive Premier League 2 defeats, the young Foxes were looking to get back on track in Seagrave against a Villa side sat in a similar position in the table and did so with a trio of first-half goals.

Making two changes from the side that lost out to Chelsea a week ago, Jeremy Monga and Will Alves - the latter fresh from making a substitute First Team appearance in the Carabao Cup two days earlier - replaced Olabade Aluko and Deniche Hill.

And it was Monga who broke the deadlock inside just 10 minutes at LCFC Training Ground, quickly followed by turning provider for the second - midfielder Louis Page doubling the advantage to see Leicester move into a commanding position early on.
