Young Foxes Duo Sign Pro Deals
- Leicester City Academy graduates Josh Knight and Max Bramley have signed two-year professional contracts
- Centre back Knight broke into the Club’s Development Squad last term, scoring in a 2-1 victory over Arsenal
- Goalkeeper Bramley impressed for the Under-18s before appearing in the UEFA Youth League group stage
Leicester City youngsters Josh Knight and Max Bramley will continue their development at the Club after putting pen to paper on new two-year professional contracts.
Young defender Knight, 19, has been rewarded for an excellent breakthrough campaign with an extension to his deal at King Power Stadium. In February, the Fleckney-based centre back found the net during a crucial 2-1 success for the Development Squad against Arsenal at Holmes Park.
In May, Knight featured heavily for the Foxes in Hong Kong as the Club claimed their second HKFC Citi Soccer Sevens Main Cup title while also being nominated among the best performing defensive players at the seven-a-side tournament.
Goalkeeper Bramley, who represented the Club in the UEFA Youth League last term, has also agreed a two-year professional deal. Alongside his duties for the Under-18s at the beginning of the 2016/17 season, the 19-year-old concurrently appeared for the Foxes in the Checkatrade Trophy.
Earlier this summer, defender Sam Hughes was added to the Development Squad from Chester while Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Lamine Kaba Sherif and Academy Player of the Year Alex Pascanu signed maiden professional contracts.
